Photo journal of the build process of a modified Buell

FatTire Morph

In the following pages Allen Bros Chopper Works will be building a radical pro-street custom. We will design and build a 250 fat tire version of our RolledMorph.

The idea is to build a custom chopper that almost anyone can afford.
A "poor mans radical custom", if you will. This frame will require a custom swingarm, for the 250 rear tire. It will also require some modifications to the standard RolledMorph frame for belt clearance. Also the guy ordering the frame, Dale, wants a radical rake, with 6" over forks. So it's designed to 42 degrees and stretched to suit.

The FatTire Morph frame can be purchased by custom builders interested in this sort of project, or we can be contracted to build a similar bike to completion.

OK, by now you've seen most of the AllenBros frame building processes at the other "At the Shop" pages, so we'll just cut to the chase...
This one's got some serious s t r e t c h!

On the FatTire frame we had to widen the swingarm plates for belt clearance.

We also modified the seat rails some for the extra width in the seat.
(it's still radical pro-street drag style though!)

The main change on this frame is the custom swingarm. We're using rolled tubing, to match the backbone of the RolledMorph, and ABCW design hidden axle blocks.

Here's Dennis, the old man of the bunch, making sure things are straight and ture.

This axle pivot assembly took some serious engineering. This thing is bullet proof!

Lookin' pretty good...
